Introduction to Methods and Technologies for Precision Agriculture

The course is organized by the Italian Society of Agronomy (SIA) and the Università di Padova. It will cover the use of proximal and remote sensing aimed at the application of precision agriculture. The programme will mix of theoretical aspects (morning) and practical sessions (afternoon), which consist of the description and use of various instruments (geophysical sensors, multi- and hyperspectral cameras, drones, etc.), software for spatial data analysis, and devices for sitespecific management of irrigation and fertilization.
