Australian Herbicide Resistance Initiative (AHRI) at the University of West Australia School of Agriculture and Environment (SAgE) is seeking an established academic leader with energy, vision and commitment to excellence in applied research, graduate student training (PhD and MSc) and coursework teaching.
This role is to lead research in crop/weed science and weed control technologies and contribute to teaching and extension programs. AHRI is a GRDC funded national initiative that addresses herbicide resistance, weed control and crop agronomy. The appointee will work collaboratively within UWA and build links with external partners, grains industry and grower groups.
